Master Plan
A civic responsibility
The mission of Tecnológico de Monterrey is to train highly skilled professionals while instilling them with great integrity, ethics, and a sense of civic responsibility.
The Tecnológico de Monterrey is working towards this goal by building a second hospital in the city and expanding its educational program. The new medical center and teaching hospital will offer cardiology, oncology, and acute care services, with leading-edge diagnostic, treatment, and research facilities. Patterned after leading U.S. hospitals, it will be an invaluable resource for patients in the Monterrey region, Mexico, and the international community.
Primary goals for the new hospital are to provide a positive, compassionate patient and family experience, while supporting health professionals in the delivery of excellent care. This holistic model includes family-oriented amenities such as lounges for relatives of intensive care patients and accommodations that encourage overnight stays.
One new hospital will not address the healthcare needs of an entire country. But for Tecnológico de Monterrey, it's an important step forward that embodies their mission. It's what civic responsibility is all about.
