Amgen
Helix Campus
Inspiring scientific advances
For more than 25 years, Amgen has tapped the power of scientific discovery and innovation to advance the practice of medicine, developing novel treatments based on their research in recombinant DNA and molecular biology. As a result, Amgen has helped millions of people in the fight against cancer, kidney disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and other serious illnesses.
This state-of-the-art research and development facility on the Seattle waterfront provided Amgen with an environment to optimize scientific exploration and collaboration, accelerating the drug discovery process, encouraging researchers to look beyond what was known, and extending the boundaries of biotechnology to create groundbreaking new therapies.
The Helix campus was created to inspire, stimulate, and engage scientists with an environment filled with light. Interior offices allow natural light to penetrate through extensive clerestory windows. Open, flexible lab spaces include the latest technological advances in computerization and robotics and custom-designed casework and equipment.
