Mitchell Fox, AIA, LEED AP | Flad Architects
"

You start by trying to understand a project with an owner – what are they trying to accomplish, what are their values, what's important to them? – and then capture that in a set of documents that the entire team can understand and execute to fulfill the owner's vision. I most enjoy that communication and the way it evolves throughout the process.”

Mitchell Fox AIA, LEED AP

Associate Principal

The glue that holds teams together, Mitch is a facilitator and a translator of information conveyed by the owner, and then to the contractor, consultants, and other project team members. His artistic background, which during his school years brought him work as a drafter, has made him adept at creating documentation that aids in communication, from initial graphic representations such as floor plans and renderings to, later, highly detailed and technical drawings and specifications. In this way, he works from design through construction to ensure that owners get a facility that meets their stated needs.
