No one is untouched by the recent healthcare crisis and the resulting impact on our daily lives. The coronavirus pandemic has upended everything about the "old normal." Most agree there will be fundamental differences in care protocols as we plan for the next pandemic and employ methods to avoid future shutdown of key services. And because we had to react so quickly to the initial shock to the healthcare system, there is debate about which new operational protocols will stay with us and what may be left behind.
