NC State Topping Out Celebration

North Carolina State University recently held a topping out for their new Plant Sciences Building, a five-story, 185,000-square-foot, cutting-edge research facility that will serve as a global hub for plant science innovation.

In accordance with current social distancing guidelines, DPR Construction hosted a remote topping-out celebration. Others attended in person by viewing from atop an adjacent parking deck. To demonstrate their support, NC State staff, students, and project stakeholders had previously signed the last beam before it was placed atop the new building.

This much-anticipated facility on NC State's Centennial Campus is slated for construction completion in 2022.
